picoChip today announced it has appointed Steve Lu to be the company’s new Vice President Sales Asia Pacific. Most recently Steve has been VP for Marketing and Strategy for Sipod Communications in Shanghai, China.

Steve Lu has a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and also holds MS degrees from both Tsinghua University and New York University, USA, and a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA. He has held a variety of senior management posts in the telecom and wireless industries in the USA and Asia, including Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems.
