Keep informed about Picochip
The PC9608/9 is a full hardware and software solution for LTE femtocells. Using currently available Picochip hardware, OEMs can develop, prototype, and field test LTE systems immediately, with a seamless migration path to SoC implementation via Picochip’s picoXcell devices.
The system integrates baseband, software stack and RF, supporting both TDD (PC9608) and FDD (PC9609) variants of LTE.
The PC960x hardware is integrated into a single compact, robust chassis based on the industry-standard MicroTCA (µTCA) architecture. The core of the product is a carrier class software-defined LTE modem (the PC860x) that is compliant with 3GPP standards and can be rapidly optimized and customized via an application programming interface (API).
Based on Picochip’s established PC203 picoArray silicon, the system supports a variety of 3GPP-defined frequencies and bandwidth specifications within the standard.
