Developed in conjunction with Global Wireless Technologies (GWT), the picoChip solution for cdma2000 and EvDO (including Rev A) supports up to 32 users and peak data rates of up to 3.1Mbit/s.
GWT’s software, running on a PC20x picoArray, provides customers with a turnkey solution that lowers cost and significantly accelerates their time to market.
The product offers CDMA2000 operators the same opportunities as the PC8208 has delivered to the WCDMA community. And, because it is a software-programmable solution, it can incorporate emerging technologies and adapt to changing standards specifications as markets develop over time.
GWT’s products use such adaptability to provide multi-standard solutions based on a generic platform. Its Universal Access Point (UAP™) offering extends and improves network coverage indoors and outdoors for CDMA , 1XRTT and EvDO networks.
