Picochip participated at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) via the Femto Forum's Femtozone initiative (South 3, stand 31577), and at the UKTI's UK Technology Stand (Central Hall 14729).

The show itself featured more than 2,500 exhibitors, making it the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow.

With commercial femtocell deployments now numbered in double figures, and many industry observers believing that more than 50 operators are conducting trials,
consumers' interest in the technology was high.

Picochip in the Femtozone

The Femto Forum laid on a full program of events at CES. On Friday afternoon in the Femtozone, Picochip's VP of marketing, Rupert Baines, presented his thoughts on what the femtocell community needs to deliver to enable truly mass market femtocells.
